Health Care Centre

Medical care in rural areas is a difficult issue not just in Germany but also abroad. The small town of Nozay, situated between Rennes and Nantes in France, has long had to deal with the fact that doctors are drawn to cities. To change this, the regional development agency SELA decided to build a health centre. The new building was to become a social centre and accommodate various specialised disciplines so that medical professionals could share information with each other. This doesn’t just ensure medical care, but also creates an attractive workplace for doctors. A total of 12 t of RHEINZINK titanium zinc with the RHEINZINK prePATINA graphite grey surface quality were used. The angled standing seam system was applied for the roof while special solutions were found for the facade. You can find more information in the project report that can be downloaded on the left.
